Previously, HYBE's (formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment) TXT went on to postpone their offline media showcase after confirmation that a non-company staff member became positive with the COVID-19 virus.

As of writing this article, yesterday on the 31st of May, HYBE went on to announce that, "A staff member who participated in TXT's schedule went on to test positive for COVID-19 on the 30th of May. Thus, it has become difficult to push through with the offline media showcase that was slated on the 31st of May."

HYBE's TXT was slated to make their comeback with their second album entitled "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" on the 31st of May.

Here is the full statement of HYBE Labels:

"Hello, this is Big Hit Music.

We are notifying you that there has been a change of plans for TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" media showcase.

First, we ask for the reporters to understand who took an interest in the media showcase and requested to attend.

A non-company staff member who participated in TXT's schedule went on to test positive for COVID-19 on the 30th of May. Thus, it has become difficult to proceed with the offline media showcase that was slated for the 31st of May. As for the online media showcase for reporters that was scheduled to be held at 3 p.m., there will be an announcement at a later time as to whether it will take place.

Although TXT did not receive an official request from the health authorities to be tested, they initially used self-test kits to test themselves, and all of the members tested negative. They also immediately underwent PCR testing for COVID-19 on May 30 as a precautionary measure, and they are currently still awaiting their results.

We ask for your understanding regarding the sudden change in schedule."

Recently, after the members of TXT are confirmed to have tested negative for COVID-19, the online showcase will continue as initially planned.

An insider from TXT's agency, Big Hit Music, noted, "All members of TXT have tested negative for the COVID-19 test. The online media showcase at 3 p.m. will therefore take place as planned."
