EXO Kai’s Gucci Sweater Becomes Sold Out As He Commemorates Latest Collection With The Brand
One of SM Entertainment's most popular K-pop boy groups, EXO, is a household name by now since its debut in 2012. EXO currently consists of the members Suho, Xiumin, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun.
Each EXO member has garnered a certain amount of popularity that is big enough for them to make individual endorsements and partnerships. One of the members who are immensely popular is their main dancer, Kai.
Beyond being in the limelight as BLACKPINK Jennie's previous beau, EXO's Kai is primarily known for his dancing skills as he is known as one of the best dancers of K-pop and South Korea in general. Additionally, he debuted his solo career in November of last year, which made him even more famous. Popular enough to collaborate with Gucci.
EXO's main dancer, Kai, not so long ago released a capsule collection with luxury clothing brand Gucci. Although he has been an ambassador for the fashion house since 2019, this is the first time Kai has ever made a direct collaboration with Gucci.
Moreover, Kai's collaboration with Gucci, the capsule collection, is the first-ever collaboration that Gucci has ever done with a South Korean artist or K-Pop idol. Among the collaboration, one of the most memorable and in-demand pieces of clothing, which was worn by EXO's Kai himself, is a special bear sweater that is blue.
The design of the sweater has the main color blue, a repeating cute bear image, and (like with most Gucci releases) is surrounded by Gucci's trademark logo. With that being said, not only did Kai promote the collection by wearing the Gucci bear sweater on Esquire Magazine's cover, Kai also wore the piece in a pop-up store for the collection.
Soon after, the Gucci sweater immediately sold out on the Gucci site. Luckily enough, Gucci shared that they will be taking pre-orders for the collection starting yesterday, March 5.
For those who are a fan of EXO Kai or just love the style in general, you can avail of the sweater on Gucci's site soon.
