Aespa confirms debut with “Black Mamba” + Karina shares the stage with EXO’s Kai
SM Entertainment's new girl group, aespa, has been stirring up headlines for their ethereal beauty and innovative concept.
The quartet is confirmed to be debuting with the single "Black Mamba" this November 17, 6PM KST.
aespa is SM's newest girl group after Red Velvet. Their name comes from combining 'æ' derived from 'Avatar X Experience' & 'aspect'.
The group consists of Karina (Korean), Giselle (Japanese), Winter (Korean), and NingNing (Chinese).
Adding to the hype, one member, Karina, joined EXO's Kai in an out-of-this-world dance duet performance for a car brand showcase ahead of aespa's official debut.
EXO's main dancer took the stage for a dance performance to introduce the new Hyundai Tucson on a virtual showcase last November 1.
However, fans were surprised to see Kai dance with another labelmate.
He was joined by Karina, aespa's oldest member, who is now preparing for her group's upcoming debut.
