Apple Fitness Plus announced its latest Artist Spotlight series featuring music from Kpop boy group BTS, pop legend ABBA, and rock icon Queen. New dance content will be available next week, including an Artist Spotlight Dance workout featuring tracks and iconic choreography from BTS, a limited-edition award for International Dance Day, and the new "Get into a Groove with Dance" workout Collection.

The featured BTS collaboration is one highlight of a content package for International Dance Day, a global celebration of music and dance on April 29. Beginning next week, workouts will be led by Fitness Plus trainer Ben and feature choreography straight from BTS' music videos.

Music had always served as a core element for the fitness service since it was launched last 2020, with the option to download and save curated playlists directly into users' Apple Music accounts.

Some of the spotlighted tracks will include hits like "Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)," "Dynamite," "Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)," "DNA," "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)," "Permission to Dance," and "Life Goes On."

Every Monday, new workouts for each artist will appear in Fitness+ across different workout categories, including Strength, HIIT, Dance, Treadmill, Cycling, Yoga, and Pilates. Previous Spotlight workouts have featured music by Alicia Keys, the Beatles, Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams, Shakira, and more.

Alongside BTS, Apple is also adding a new Dance Collection titled "Get into a Groove with Dance" which opens up a limited-edition award for International Dance Day. The dance collections are a relatively fresh addition to the service. They have curated workout playlists for specific activity goals like running a 5K. Animated stickers for Messages can also be earned by completing any dance workout of 20 minutes or more.

Fitness Plus requires an Apple Watch Series 3 or later with watch OS 7.2 to avail. You can apply for the subscription service now for $9.99 (US) per month or $79.99 (US) per year through their online store.
