The Long-Awaited Comeback: McDonald’s Teases The Return Of The Popular BTS Meal

ARMYs could be once again swarming to their nearest McDonald's drive-thru as the popular BTS meal from their favorite K-pop boy group could be making a comeback.

In the previous summer, BTS and McDonald's did a collaboration to create the BTS Meal which is part of the restaurant chain's 'Famous Orders initiative'. Though the packaging for the BTS Meal was different depending on the location.

Notably, the BTS Meal was so popular that it caused a plethora of McDonald's restaurants to shut down in Indonesia. Not only did they drive up revenue for McDonald's, but the BTS Meal was also quite delicious as each BTS Meal was made up of a medium Coca-Cola soda, medium fries, and McNuggets that had a Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauce.

Netizens and K-pop fans collected the BTS Meal's purple packaging like it was merch, pairing it with the official BTS x McDonald's HYBE MERCH clothing that had T-shirts, sweatshirts, socks, and many more clothing items. But just like most things, the BTS Meal's time in the spotlight ended. But could it be making a return?

Previously on Twitter, McDonald's promoted "BTS's PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LAS VEGAS" concert on the 8th of April, even bringing back some BTS x McDonald's concept merch characters on the 15th of April.

Just recently, McDonald's has shown its true purple colors as the restaurant's social media page posted a mysterious tweet that could potentially be referring to a comeback. K-pop fans are hoping that it is the famous BTS Meal.

The immensely popular BTS Meal was launched by McDonald's in May of last year. Coincidentally, BTS is dropping a comeback on the 10th of June. Due to this, ARMYs are wishing that McDonald's could once again drop the BTS Meal.
