Apple’s New $1600 Mac Studio Desktop Shockingly Disappoints In The Camera Department!

Normally excelling in the camera department, Apple falls short in their recent Mac desktop release. What are the tech giant's plans to remedy this?

Notably, Apple recently released a new and powerful Mac Studio desktop computer and the $1,600 Studio Display that comes with it. The Apple product's display is a 5K screen that reviewers have been giving overall praises, except for the shocking performance of its integrated webcam. 

Furthermore, some reviews have shared that the new Studio Display's webcam captures a lot of noise and washed-out pictures. Due to this, Apple reported that they have a software fix on the way, but it is not sure when it will arrive, Input recently reported.

Adding to this, reviews from The Verge and The Wall Street Journal discussed that the integrated webcam of Apple's recent release took images that are grainy and have noise. It was also touched upon that the display had a bad performance in low light.

To no one's surprise, Apple admitted that their system is not heaving as expected and that they will make improvements in a software update. Although people are happy with this, they still need to wait for a bit since a release date has not been specified.

Additionally, the disappointing performance of Apple's 12-megapixel webcam is truly a surprise as most selfies and FaceTime calls have been nothing short of pristine with Apple's iPhones and iPads.

A good side to Apple's new webcam is that the Studio Display includes an A13 Bionic chipset, which first came out on the iPhone 11. This means that a simple computer screen has now been supercharging with the brain of a smartphone.
