BoA, SNSD, Red Velvet, & aespa Super Group? SM Entertainment Announces Female Version Of SuperM!

Are you ready for the ultimate K-pop girl groups? SM Entertainment just confirmed that a female version of SuperM is coming, and both netizens and fans are thrilled!

To the delight of netizens and fans of SM Entertainment, the entertainment label has confirmed via an announcement that they will be forming a female version of "SuperM" where SM Entertainment's most prominent female K-pop artists will join forces.

Two years ago, in August of 2019, SM Entertainment introduced the world to their K-pop boy group, SuperM.

SuperM consisted of male K-pop artists from SHINee, EXO, and NCT. The K-pop boy group made their debut later that year, where the members were revealed to be SHINee's Taemin, EXO's Baekhyun and Kai, and NCT's Taeyong, Mark, Ten, and Lucas.

SuperM has seen immense success, and SM Entertainment seems to be going with the flow with their female version of SuperM called GOT!

As of writing this article, today on the 27th of December, 2021, SM Entertainment revealed that a K-pop girl group called GOT, or Girls on Top, will be debuting soon!

As per the newly released teaser photo, Girls on Top will consist of BoA, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa's Karina and Winter.

The K-pop girl group will have a special performance on the 1st of January next year, possibly at SMTOWN's upcoming free online concert, and GOT will also drop their first song on the 3rd of January at 6 p.m. KST!
