SM Entertainment’s aespa Signs With CAA, The Agency Behind Beyonce, Harry Styles, & More
SM Entertainment's aespa's fandom, MYs, are in for a huge treat in the future, more specifically MYs that are in the United States!
Debuting under SM Entertainment only in the second half of last year, aespa has already signed with Creative Artists Agency (also known as CAA), as per reports. Notably, CAA is one of the most popular and successful talent agencies in the United States.
As per reports from media outlets, SM Entertainment's aespa has been able to sign with CAA, a Los Angeles-based talent agency 'in all areas.' This means aespa's contract under CAA includes concerts, promotional appearances, and even advertisements.
News reports further reveal that SM Entertainment's aespa will still be managed by SM Entertainment, the agency already a client of CAA. SM Entertainment previously signed with CAA two years ago in 2019 after SuperM's debut and for NCT 127's activities in the USA.
To the knowledge of fans, CAA was in charge of SuperM's North American tour and also NCT 127 being featured on "The Late Late Show With James Corden," which is why MYs are expecting aespa to receive the same treatment.
Moreover, Jeremy Lopez, SM Entertainment's Executive Vice President, went on to post about the aespa and CAA partnership on his Instagram page, captioning it, "Did something special."
CAA has a vast amount of immensely popular artists that are signed under them. Artists such as Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, GOT7's Mark, and many more are now label mates with SM Entertainment's aespa.
This opens up a wide array of possibilities as SM Entertainment's aespa now has a higher chance of releasing huge collaborations with artists under CAA. The near future is bright for SM Entertainment's rookie K-pop girl group.
Are you excited about what aespa has in store for the future?
Congratulations to SM Entertainment and aespa for the amazing signing!
