No More Online Concerts? ‘2021 Dream Concert’ To Be Held Offline

Last year, concert activities and other events were conducted through online streaming due to the pandemic. But things seem to be going back to normal. Read through the article to find out.

Fans weren't able to see their beloved K-Pop idols in person, last year, as the world halted due to the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, K-Pop idols such as TWICE, and NCT met fans though virtual concerts via Beyond Live. Moreover, last year's Dream Concert was streamed online via YouTube and Naver VLIVE.

For this year, fans might be able to witness the most popular K-Pop stars live after a year as some reports point out to the "2021 Dream Concert" be held offline. This year's Dream Concert  is scheduled to be held offline this June 26 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. Moreover, 769 Entertainment is confirmed to be the official sponsor of the "Dream Concert."

If the "2021 Dream Concert" push through it will the 27th year of the concert. On the other hand, with "2021 Dream Concert" going offline, everybody are wondering whether if this is the start of a new normal where fans will be able to attend concerts and festivals on-venue.

Last year, the "Dream Concert" was held online for two days. Some of the attendees for the "2020 Dream Concert" includes EXO-SC, Red Velvet, IRENE & SEULGI, OH MY GIRL, ASTRO, South Club, Golden Child, Kim Jae Hwan, AB6IX, CIX, CRAVITY, MAMAMOO, Ha Sung Woon, Lovelyz, WJSN, Weki Meki, Jung Se Woon, The Boyz, Stray Kids, ITZY, Rocket Punch, and ONEUS.

Meanwhile, the official lineup of K-Pop stars that will grace the "Dream Concert" stage is yet to be announced. But fans are looking forward to see groups such as Oneus, Enhypen, aespa, Weekly, and StayC among others.
