Why These Shows Matter
BTS has performed in Mexico City before, but never at this scale or frequency. Three consecutive stadium nights at Estadio GNP Seguros represent the largest K-pop footprint the venue has seen. Bogotá and Buenos Aires are genuinely first-ever stops - cities with large, long-established ARMY communities that have waited over a decade for a performance date.
The Latin America leg was not originally announced with venue details. Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum formally appealed to South Korea's President Lee Jae Myung to add more Mexican dates after local promoter Ocesa indicated the tour schedule left no room for expansion. Three additional October shows - in Lima, Santiago, and Buenos Aires - were added on April 8, following fan-driven pressure across multiple markets.
The Arirang World Tour continues through 2027, with European dates in June-July, additional North American stadium shows in August, and Southeast Asia and Oceania legs into early 2027. Manila closes the tour on March 14, 2027.
