Since their debut with JYP Entertainment previously on the 7th of September, DAY6 has had a special connection with their fans, the My Days. This was recently even more reinforced as Sungjin, the band's leader, left a special surprise to fans after he enlisted.

Personal fans of Sungjin and My Days, rejoice! DAY6's very own Sungjin has opened a second Twitter account so he can communicate with fans while in the army.

Previously in August of 2019, Sungjin, the leader of DAY6, created a Twitter account with his nickname "Bob," which comes from the children's TV series "Bob, the Builder." Moreover, the South Korean word for "rice" or "meals" similarly sounds like "bob" as well.

Since then, DAY6's Sungjin has filled his Twitter account with recommendations of meals.

After being inactive for one year, DAY6's Sungjin tweeted on his initial account for the first time on the 28th of April. Sungjin did this to commemorate fellow DAY6 member, Wonpil's birthday. In the tweet, he noted that he was eating spicy fried chicken, Wonpil's favorite food.

Aside from his tweet on his initial Twitter account, DAY6's Sungjin also tweeted on his new account for fans. In his tweet, the DAY6 leader said:

"I told you I'd keep in contact somehow, right? The other account has too strong of a concept, so let's communicate through this account."

Sungjin also assured his fans that he was eating well, and he hopes they are eating well too.

DAY6's Sungjin then confirmed that it was truly him using his second account by tweeting on his original Twitter account. This was all for Sungjin's fans as he ensured them that he will still be in contact with them.

DAY6's Sungjin went on to do his duty in the South Korean military as he enlisted on the 8th of March this year. He made sure to record everything for DAY6's comeback before enlisting.
