Preview Video Of IU’s upcoming ‘LILAC’ Highlights Her Skills In Fighting

Arguably one of the most influential and famous solo female K-pop artists today, IU presented to the public "LILAC." This will be IU's fifth studio album. Dropping on the 25th of March, netizens and IU's fans, known as Uaenas, is extremely joyous for the comeback of their all-kill K-pop queen

To further delve on this, more than a week ago, on the 10th of March, IU dropped even more details with regards to her highly-anticipated album, primarily tracklist within. IU's "LILAC" IU's will have two title tracks that are titled "LILAC" and "Coin." Like in most cases for her songs, the singer-songwriter has written the lyrics for both the title songs. Moreover, IU dabbled in composing as she also co-composed "Coin" alongside "Celebrity," her latest hot release.

As a preview for "LILAC," IU released "Celebrity" back on the 27th of January, which almost immediately got a ton of love due to "Celebrity" garnering multiple awards and laurels. IU's "LILAC" is already on the radar as fans cannot wait for its release.

To top it off, IU's upcoming album will feature a lot of popular South Korean artists. Among these artists are PENOMECO, Naul, WOOGIE, Ryan S. Jhun, Lee Chan Hyuk from the duo AKMU, PEEJAY, and Dean. The latter of which helped in writing one of IU's songs, "TROLL." 

As of writing this article, a week ago, on the 11th of March, IU dropped a teaser for the upcoming music video of her solo "Flu," and not long ago, the singer-songwriter dropped another video for her album "LILAC."

The preview video was uploaded on IU's official YouTube channel today, the 18th of March. In the preview video, IU reveals that aside from singing and dancing, she also has a knack for fighting. In the 25-second film, she seems to be in a hallway where she is defending herself from attackers. As this happens, an upbeat song plays in the background.

Watch out as the 25th of March draws closer, prompting the release of IU's "LILAC."
