The director of "Dream," Lee Byung-heon, shared his thoughts about this project, saying, "This is a project I've been preparing for a long time, and it means a lot to me. We have an incredible cast of actors, and I'm excited to work with them."

As per South Korean actor Park Seo-joon, he shared his excitement by mentioning, "I'm excited for the time I'll be spending as the character, Hong Dae. I'll do my best to deliver a great film to viewers."

"As this is my debut in a feature film, I'll approach the project with both excitement and responsibility. I'm so happy to be working with actors and cast members who are always warm and welcoming and whom I have so much to learn from," IU, the South-Korean sensation, continued.

"Dream" was supposed to be on the silver screen last 2020, but due to the pandemic, it was pushed to this year, 2021.

The film began shooting last May in 2020. The director of the film, Lee Byung-heon, known for his other films such as "Extreme Job" and "What a Man Wants," said that his upcoming film revolves around the Homeless World Cup, an award given yearly to soccer teams, which is also international.

The characters are Yoon Hong-dae (played by Park Seo-joon), a professional soccer player who gets caught in the middle of an immediate scandal and is put on disciplinary probation. Hong-dae then is made a coach of a very weird soccer team made up of homeless people. He must coach the team for an upcoming tournament. After a while, his resentment toward the team becomes genuine care as he grows as a leader.

IU will be playing the role of Lee So-min. So-min is a director-producer who yearns for success. She believes her hit will be a documentary centered on the homeless team Hong-dae coaches.

Additionally, this will be the singer-songwriter's debut on a film, and given her brilliance in her acting to previous dramas such as "Hotel del Luna," everyone is expecting her to do great.

No specifics are released yet on when this film will be out, but it is surely going to be in cinemas within 2021.
