For K-pop idols, self-confidence is one of the most important aspects of the industry. Without self-confidence, the idols' projection on and off the stage would be lackluster. That is why self-confidence is vital to every idol's journey in K-pop.

With that being said, it seems that ITZY, one of the hottest girl groups from JYP Entertainment, oozes natural self-confidence.

ITZY, JYP Entertainment's all Korean girl group, debuted in February 2019 with their lead song "Dalla Dalla." Presently in 2021, ITZY is now one of the most well-recognized girl groups in South Korea and is on the rise on an international scale. Even more so now with their latest and first English album release and YouTube shows, "IT'z PLAYTIME" and "2TZY: Hello 2021."

Recently, the girls of ITZY released their elegance and grace for the March issue of "Singles" magazine.

ITZY's main message and theme in this interview and photoshoot is "self-confidence" and how they project it as a group and integrate it into their image, projects, and songs.

Each member of ITZY had powerful messages to share, among which are as follows.

Yeji shared that while it's good to look up to someone and feel that you want to also live out the good traits you see in them, there's no need to "become" that person. She thinks it's more about taking the good traits of other people and compiling them within her, like coloring a white piece of paper with a lot of different colors.

Ryujin spoke out by saying that her charm comes from her performance. Along with the energetic atmosphere of ITZY's songs, her passionate choreography and unique style really complement her group, which in turn shows her charm.

Lia also gave her thoughts by saying that she is a firm believer in the quote, "Live a life where you can fulfill your own criteria." She thinks that everyone has different criteria for happiness, success, and failure. So there is no need to abide by anyone else's rules.

Next, Chaeryeong commented that since her trainee days, she's tried to absorb the new things she learned in her own unique way. Chaeryeong still feels that she should not lose sight of who she is as an individual.

Lastly, Yyuna revealed that she wants to become someone who can be honest. She does not want to hide who she is. She also wants to live confidently while speaking her thoughts.
