Singer-actor Seo In Guk will leave fans with a self-composed song before he enlists in the military in March. His management agency Jellyfish Entertainment made the announcement Monday after they dismissed only three days ago earlier reports wherein a representative from the company itself revealed the celebrity's military enlistment date March 28. The song, considered as his last project, will be his parting gift for fans.

The self-written track, however, is recognized by fans as one of the new songs he introduced at his concert last year. Seo In Guk held his concert "Mint Chocolate" at YES24 Live Hall as he celebrated the New Year's Eve with fans. The "Reply 1997" star openly talked about his upcoming military enlistment and revealed he's already "thinking of several different things" to part fans with. "I think fans will be sad if I don't do anything before enlisting," Soompi quoted the 29-year-old artist as saying in an interview with Star News last year.

His management label corrected itself and verified news of his enlistment. They revealed that the singer-actor will report to Yeoncheon county's 5th division in Gyeonggi-do for a five-week basic training March 28. Seo In Guk underwent physical examination last year and will serve as an active-duty soldier. Big Bang's T.O.P. and JYJ's Junsu were the last male celebrities who enlisted in the military while 2PM's Jun.K and Taecyeon are slated to follow suit this year. Jun.K, however, met an accident Sunday when he fell off an almost 10 feet moving platform during the band's concert and suffered fracture. SM idols Siwon, Donghae and Eunhyuk, on the other hand, are among the male celebrities who'll be returning to the limelight this year. Super Junior members have already been teasing ELF fans for their upcoming comeback album.

Seo In Guk has not revealed any details yet about how he'll greet fans upon his enlistment. He did hint during last year's interview, "Everyone has to go to the military, so I would like to enlist quietly." Aside from the "Superstar K" artists, who's also dubbed as the "master of kissing" and considered the most filial son among celebrities, Hallyu star Lee Min Ho will also gift fans a special album as he's also slated to enlist this year.
