Similar to 2022's "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," the MBC drama was also an underdog, competing against other top K-Dramas such as "Now, We Are Breaking Up."
Notably, MBC's "The Red Sleeve" starred actors Lee Junho and Lee Se Young. At the time, the two were not as popular as other top actors and actresses.
Furthermore, it did not help "The Red Sleeves" that "Now, We Are Breaking Up" was gaining a lot of attention. This is because this was Song Hye Kyo's first project since divorcing actor Song Joong Ki. Regardless, "The Red Sleeves" was still able to dominate via the ratings.

Now, fans are happy to know that Lee Junho's immense popularity is reflected in his earnings. In the 20th of July episode of TMI's News Show, Lee Junho was shown to be making over ₩100 million KRW (approximately $76,200) per episode.
Noting that K-drama is approximately 16 episodes, fans of 2PM's Junho are happy that the K-Pop idol-turned-actor is given fair pay.
