Red Velvet, NCT Dream, & More, SM Entertainment’s Comeback & Debut Schedule This 2022 So Far!

2022 is gearing up to be an amazing year for SM Entertainment as aside from debuting an upcoming boy group, the K-pop artists from the label are all slated to make amazing comebacks!

SM Entertainment's Super Junior are the first to make a return as the veteran K-pop boy group's special single album "The Road: Winter for Spring" will be dropping on online music sites at 6 p.m. KST on the 28th of February.

Super Junior's special album is their first complete comeback in over a year since the K-pop boy group's 10th full-length album "The Renaissance" dropped in March of 2021. The SM Entertainment group made fans excited via teaser images and a music video teasers for the title track "Callin."

Another K-pop act from SM Entertainment to make a comeback is Red Velvet and it will be the K-pop girl group's first comeback in seven months after their sixth mini-album "Queendom" in August of 2021.

Following Red Velvet, NCT's unit NCT Dream, is also preparing to make a March comeback. This will be the K-pop boy group's first release in 10 months since their first full-length album "Hot Sauce" and first full-length repackage album "Hello Future," which dropped in May of 2021.

Beyond foreseeable comebacks, SM Entertainment is also seeking to debut a new K-pop act. The most recent K-pop acts that SM debut have been aespa and girl group project GOT the beat, but as per recent reports, SM is planning on debutiong a boy group this year.

SM Entertainment is supposedly in partnership with MGM Television through survival auditions, a U.S. production company, to choose members for another NCT unit, NCT Hollywood. This unit will be a K-pop boy group focusing mainly in the U.S.

The upcoming SM Entertainment survival auditions will have aspiring male K-pop idol aspirants that are within the age of 13 to 25 from the U.S.

With that, SM Entertainment is truly making huge moves for the foreseeable future!
