Neverlands In For A Treat As Miyeon Teases (G)I-DLE Comeback While Talking About ‘Moonshine’ OST!
Not long ago on the 8th of February, the popular K-drama "Moonshine" which stars Girl's Day's Hyeri and Yoo Seung Ho added another song to its soundtrack which is (G)I-DLE Miyeon's new song "Someday."
This was the K-pop idol's first time adding to the OST of a historical K-drama, making Neverlands (the fandom name of (G)I-DLE) very exciting. (G)I-DLE's Miyeon explained that since she was a child, she always dreamed of being a part of a historical K-drama's OST.
"Thankfully, a great opportunity came my way, and I was overjoyed and excited to be able to sing for the 'Moonshine' OST. Even when I was recording the song, I was really happy, and I was grateful for the meticulous vocal directing," the K-pop idol shared.
Miyeon also shared that the song was so close to her heart that the (G)I-DLE member listened to the demo during her free time prior to recording, showing how much the K-pop idol loves the OST.
"I was particularly touched by the lyrics and melody, which captured the feelings of heartache and missing someone. I tried to express the emotions I felt with a slightly more mature vibe, so I think it'd be good to focus when you listen to the song," (G)I-DLE's Miyeon shared regarding why she loved the OST.
The K-pop idol also revealed that she always feels a greater sense of responsibility when it comes to OSTs. For Miyeon, her voice is going to be a part of important scenes in the K- drama.
"After this song was released, my members gave me feedback and my fans also really liked it, so I was happy." I think 'Someday' will remain a song that I always feel proud of," (G)I-DLE's Miyeon revealed.

Additionally, Miyeon made Neverlands excited as she talked about (G)I-DLE's activities for 2022. The K-pop idol added, "I hope that you'll also keep an eye on my promotions with (G)I-DLE. We'll show you lots of new and cool sides of ourselves this year."
