Netizens Surprised As (G)I-DLE Soyeon Gets Upset at Trainee’s Excuses In ‘My Teenage Girl’!
On the 22nd of January, MBC uploaded a clip of "My Teenage Girl" upcoming January 23rd episode on the official YouTube channel of the network and (G)I-DLE's Soyeon got heated.

The clip shows the fourth-year K-pop trainees from show gearing up for the "second-semester final exams" (aka their evaluation stages) under (G)I-DLE's Soyeon. The K-pop idol was evaluating the performance of the GFRIEND's "Time for the Moon Night" team.
The K-pop trainees being evaluated were Myung Hyung Seo, Kim Yooyeon, Kim Hari, and Lee Mihee.
The trainee heading the intro, Myung Hyung Seo, began singing her part. But she suddenly stopped performing and apologized to (G)I-DLE's Soyeon. The trainee explained that her throat was not in a good condition. The trainee said this while laughing awkwardly and smiling.
Due to this, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon replied with a loud tone, "How could your throat always not be in good condition? Does that not mean that your throat is just not good?"
The K-pop idol went on to add that the throat condition is also part of the trainee's skill. "I have nothing to say about that. Do it again," (G)I-DLE Soyeon remarked.
The other trainees looked worried (G)I-DLE's Soyeon raised her voice. Following their Mentor's request, the "Time for the Moon Night" team began performing once again.

After the performance, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon expressed that the trainee's performance was okay and not bad. The K-pop idol added that trainee Myung Hyung Seo did a good job but she might have a difficult time if she continued with hard parts.
(G)I-DLE Soyeon also went on to call out trainee Kim Yooyeon for looking nervous as she performed, noting that she had to perform with the intention of doing good.
Additionally, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon called out trainee Lee Mihee as she could not hear her voice while performing, as per the K-pop idol.
This just shows how (G)I-DLE's Soyeon pushes her trainees to be the best.
