BTS Jimin Personal Updates Netizens & ARMYs Regarding His Recovery Status!
BTS Jimin has made it known to netizens and K-pop fans that he is doing fine!
Previously on the 31st of January, BIGHIT MUSIC (the label of BTS) announced that Jimin was recovering from his surgery for appendicitis and has tested positive for COVID-19. This sudden news surprised ARMYs, the fandom name of BTS, and netizens.
BIGHIT MUSIC's announcement towards BTS Jimin's status was as follows:
"Hello.
This is BIGHIT MUSIC.
We would like to provide you with the following information regarding the current health status of BTS member Jimin.
Jimin experienced sudden abdominal pain along with a mild sore throat on January 30 in the afternoon. He visited a hospital emergency room for thorough examination, and also took a PCR test. Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, and was tested positive for COVID-19. He underwent surgery following physician advice early in the morning on Monday, January 31.
According to the medical staff, the surgery was successful and Jimin is currently recuperating after his procedure. He will be receiving a few days of in-patient treatment for COVID-19 in conjunction with postoperative care. He is currently experiencing a mild sore throat but is making a speedy recovery, and had no contact with the other members during the infectious stage.
The company places the artists' health as our top priority, and we will do everything we can to aid Jimin in his speedy recovery. We will also diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the health care authorities.

K-pop fans were quick to go on Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram to show love and support towards BTS Jimin. Notably, on Twitter alone, both JIMIN and "#GetWellSoonJimin" went beyond one million tweets each on the day of the announcement towards the K-pop idol's status.
Just recently, to reciprocate and show gratitude towards netizens and K-pop fans, BTS Jimin assured them that he was alright as the K-pop idol noted, "Everyone, were you all really worried? I am recovering well!"
This shows how much Jimin appreciates the love he has been getting from fans, he had to respond immediately to let ARMYs know he was doing fine.
