SNSD’s Seohyun Is In Discussion To Star in The Upcoming Netflix Series ‘Thief: The Sound of the Sword’
Several media outlets have reported that actress and Girls' Generation maknae Seohyun will be starring as the female lead of the upcoming Netflix action thriller drama "Thief: The Sound of the Sword."
Previously, it was reported that actor Kim Nam Gil has been cast to lead the drama "Thief: The Sound of the Sword."
In response to the reports, Seohyun's agency Namoo Actors confirmed that the idol-actress has received the proposal to lead the upcoming drama "Thief: The Sound of the Sword."
Additionally, Namoo actors reiterated that Seohyun is still reviewing the offer and there's no decision made yet.

The upcoming Netflix action thriller drama "Thief: The Sound of the Sword" is set in the 1920s during the Japanese colonial period. The upcoming Netflix series will tell the stories of people who lost their homes and how they would do anything for their families and colleagues.
Meanwhile, reports pointed out that the "Thief: The Sound of the Sword" will have a 30 billion won (approximately $25 million US dollars) budget.
Should Seohyun accept the offer to lead "Thief: The Sound of the Sword," this will be her first-ever Netflix original drama. The idol-actress is set to debut in Netflix films this coming February 11 with the movie "Love and Leashes" where she stars alongside UKISS' Lee Jun Young.

"Thief: Sound of the Sword" is scheduled to begin filming this year after finalizing pre-production details.
Aside from Kim Nam Gil, the cast lineup of "Thief: Sound of the Sword" also includes Lee Ho Jung, Yoo Jae Myung, Lee Hyun Wook, and Lee Yoo Young.
