ITZY Makes History As JYP Entertainment’s K-Pop Girl Group To Do A Collaboration With Pokemon!
It seems like Nintendo fans are going to catch Pokemon in "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" while listening to sick K-pop tracks as JYP Entertainment's ITZY is slated to release a collaboration with the videogame brand!
Most gamers are aware that Game Freak's "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" is set to release this Friday, January 28th, on the Nintendo Switch. But it seems as though gamers and K-pop fans are in for more than what they bargained for as an ITZY collab has been announced.

Just recently, Pokémon Philippines uploaded an update on their Facebook page announcing the K-pop partnership with ITZY. Due to ITZY being immensely popular, netizens and fans immediately shared their excitement in the comments section.
Those who are both fans of K-pop and Nintendo will be pleasantly surprised with the ITZY and Pokemon!
Notably, a K-pop group from JYP Entertainment also had a collaboration with Nintendo. Previously in 2021, ITZY's labelmates TWICE had a collaboration with Nintendo to advertise their popular Nintendo Switch console.
Netizens and MIDZYs (the fandom name of ITZY) are excited as it is not yet clear exactly what ITZY and Pokémon will do for their collaborations. At the least, the Facebook post mentioned a commercial and Tik Tok videos, to the delight of K-pop fans.
Notably, the collaboration between ITZY and Pokemon set to start on Wednesday on the 9th of February, around two weeks after the release of "Pokémon Legends: Arceus."
