IU, aespa, NCT, & More: Artists Who Took Home Awards At The 2022 Golden Disc Awards!
The 2022 Golden Disc Awards just concluded, and a myriad of K-pop artists was able to take home awards to the delight of netizens and their respective fandoms.
Notably, in previous years, the Golden Disc Awards usually occurred within two days due to the event being split into the Album and Digital Song categories.
For this year's Golden Disc Awards, the ceremony had no audience, had pre-recorded K-pop performances, and only lasted one day due to COVID-19 protocols.
All the K-pop artists who were nominated in the 2022 Golden Disc Awards had songs and albums released within November of 2020 and mid-November of 2021. The nominees for major categories were based on data such as the number of streaming and album sales.

Notably, the winners for the 2022 Golden Disc Awards were chosen from 60% sales count until mid-December of 2021 for K-pop musical releases.
Furthermore, 40% percent was based on scores from a panel of judges consisting of 50 experts in the K-pop industry, which include music journalists, music critics, and the ceremony's executive committee, and more, for this year's Golden Disc Awards.
