It was previously confirmed earlier this December that Super Junior's Siwon had gone on to test positive for the COVID-19 virus and was slated to be placed in self-quarantine. Currently, the Super Junior is back and he looks healthier than ever.
Notably, Super Junior's Siwon was supposedly going to be presenting at this year's Mnet Asian Music Awards (2021 MAMAs) this December but he had to cancel his appearance and other scheduled activities, as he went on to test positive for the COVID-19 virus.
He was fully vaccinated at the time he contracted the virus, having received his second vaccine in September 2021.
"I owe my deepest gratitude to all the medical staff who took care of me and to those who worried for me," Super Junior's Siwon expressed.
Super Junior's Siwon posted the following tweet:
"Hello everyone! I'm back! I owe my deepest gratitude to all the medical staff who took care of me and to those who worried for me. I will try my best to finish this year strong! Please take care of yourself and let's defeat this virus together! (Psalms 91)"
Siwon's return is just in time for the SMTOWN Live 2022 event, which makes his fans really excited.
The SMTOWN Live 2022 is a free online concert that will occur on the 1st of January next year and is composed of talents from SM Entertainment. The line-up of the SM event so far is made up of Super Junior, Girls Generation, NCT, Red Velvet, aespa, and many more SM Entertainment artists.
