The Return Of The Queens: Mnet Announces 2nd Season For ‘Queendom’!
Are you ready for another set of royalties entering the stage? Mnet has officially confirmed and announced that there will be a second season of their immensely popular program "Queendom"!
Mnet's "Queendom," which initially broadcasted its first season previously in 2019 and was hosted by Lee Da Hee and Jang Sung Kyu, featured an amazing lineup of K-pop girl groups facing off against one another in a plethora of competitions before the amazing finale "comeback battle."
The star-studded participants in the first season of Mnet's "Queendom" were Park Bom, (G)I-DLE, AOA, MAMAMOO, Lovelyz, and Oh My Girl. After a lengthy and spectacular war, RBW's Mamamoo came out on top as the winner of Mnet's "Queendom" on the tenth episode.
Due to its immense success, Mnet will surely want to make a second season of "Queendom," which once again revolves around female talents!
As of writing this article, today on the 14th of December, an insider from Mnet revealed, "'Queendom 2' is confirmed to launch in 2022. The exact date and format are still undecided."
Following the immense success of Mnet's "Queendom," Mnet has also dropped the spin-offs "Road to Kingdom" and "Kingdom: Legendary War." Now that there will be another season of "Queendom," viewers and fans are now hyped to find out who will be the next round of female K-pop artists who will participate in battles in order to win the crown.
