But 'rookie' actress, Jung Ho Yeon, who was initially a model garnered an overwhelming amount of love from viewers and fans. Aside from her visuals, acting skills, and bubbly personality, her fans are also interested in her special relationship with BLACKPINK's Jennie.
Both Jung Ho Yeon and BLACKPINK's Jennie have been friends for a while now, and in a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Jung Ho Yeon revealed to the magazine how she and the BLACKPINK member became so close.
As mentioned above, Jung Ho Yeon, although new in the acting industry, is a natural actress. Her expressions are outstanding and might have probably grown from her stint as a successful model gracing runways all over the world.
As per Jung Ho Yeon, she and Jennie first met at Paris Fashion Week. Jennie came to see the Chanel show, and she was on the runway. Jennie's stylist knew her, so they coincidentally came across and were introduced to one another.
But it was during a trip to New York when Jung Ho Yeon attended a BLACKPINK concert and that was where their friendship truly began. The two began to hang out because of similarities such as age and almost similar glamorous careers.
Furthermore, Jung Ho Yeon explained how supportive Jennie has been during the filming of "Squid Game" and after it began airing.
"She has been fully supportive of my new acting career. She sent a coffee truck, and she was very happy for me when I first got the role. She also posted an Instagram story of Squid Game before it was officially released. I can't really express how grateful I am to her," Jung Ho Yeon added.
