Stray Kids, NCT 127, ITZY, BTS, & More, Reached Milestones On Billboard’s ‘World Albums Chart’!
Are you ready, K-pop fans? Billboard recently released their list for their World Albums chart for the week ending on October 9! Did your favorite K-pop artist make the list?
JYP Entertainment's Stray Kids placed 14th on the chart with "NOEASY" in its sixth week. Ahead of them is YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK as they entered the chart at the 9th spot in its 52nd week with their album "THE ALBUM."
HYBE's TXT then ranked 8th with "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" in its 18th week on the Billboard chart. It further extends its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of this year.
Their labelmates, BTS, got a total of six albums on this Billboard's "World Albums chart" for this week as "Map of the Soul: 7" placed 5th, "BE" ranked 7th, "Love Yourself: Tear" at the 10th spot, "Love Yourself: Her" number 11, "BTS, The Best" in 13th place, and "Love Yourself: Answer" coming in at the 15th spot.
SM Entertainment's NCT 127's album "Sticker" then ranked 2nd in its second week on the "World Albums chart."
ITZY of JYP Entertainment then debuted at first place with their first studio album entitled "CRAZY IN LOVE" on this week's Billboard chart. Moreover, they also swept the No. 1 spot on four other Billboard charts!
ITZY's "CRAZY IN LOVE" is number 1 on Billboard's "Top Album Sales chart," "Top Current Album Sales chart," "Tastemaker Albums chart," and "Independent Albums chart," to the delight of MIDZYs, their fandom name.
Adding to this, ITZY's new title track entitled "LOCO" entered Billboard's "World Digital Song Sales chart" at 4th place and their B-side "SWIPE" entered at 23rd.
Furthermore, ITZY once again entered Billboard's "Artist 100" in 12th place. Another milestone was then added as ITZY's "CRAZY IN LOVE" got them their highest ranking so far in 11th place on the "Billboard 200."
