Stray Kids, TXT, BTS, BLACKPINK, & SEVENTEEN On Top Of Billboard’s World Albums Chart!
Just recently, Billboard (one of the most popular American music and entertainment media outlets) has released their "World Albums chart" for the week spanning from the 12th of September up until the 18th and among the top artists were a plethora of K-pop's finest!
Notably, after a total of three weeks staying at the top spot, TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" went down a spot ranking number 2 on its 15th week on the chart! Furthermore, the track has extended its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of this year.
Adding to this, TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" has also gone on to extend its own record on the "Billboard 200 chart" this week. The album has become the first K-pop album of this year to spend a whopping 12 weeks on the popular chart.
Furthermore, TXT's labelmates, BTS, once again listed a total of seven albums in the top 15. The BTS albums being "Map of the Soul: 7" which held onto its spot at 3rd place, followed by "BE" at the #5 spot, "BTS, The Best" at 6th rank, "Love Yourself: Answer" at the number 7 spot, "Map of the Soul: Persona" on the 11th rank, "Love Yourself: Her" at number 14th, and "Skool Luv Affair" rounding out the top 15 at the last spot.
Moreover, BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" has risen to the 8th spot in its 49th week on the popular chart.
On the other hand, JYP Entertainment's Stray Kids held the line with "NOEASY" at the 9th rank in its third week.
SEVENTEEN's "Your Choice" was able to re-enter the chart at the 12th position this week!
