On the 26th of August, it was announced and confirmed that the K-pop artists performing in the 2021 The Fact Music Awards are BTS, Oh My Girl, Brave Girls, ITZY, Super Junior, Hwang Chi Yeol, and SEVENTEEN.

The 2021 The Fact Music Awards will be once again online this year to keep artists and fans safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The awards ceremony will happen on the 2nd of October as an "on-tact" event.
This means that the upcoming 2021 The Fact Music Awards has been referred to as an event that is "online" and "contact-free."
