Netizens Excited As ATEEZ’s Mingi Finally Returns After An 8-Month Hiatus!
Last year in November of 2020, ATEEZ's agency, KQ Entertainment, revealed that ATEEZ member Mingi was going on a temporary hiatus for the K-pop idol to improve his health.
ATINYs (the fandom name of ATEEZ) were saddened by the announcement but eventually wanted Mingi's health to improve. It has been 8 months now since the announcement and KQ Entertainment has just revealed a major update on ATEEZ's Mingi's status.
Just recently, ATEEZ's KQ Entertainment has finally revealed that ATEEZ's Mingi would finally return doing ATEEZ's promotions, thus signaling that his hiatus is finally over.
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 18th of July, KQ Entertainment announced that ATEEZ's Mingi's health had improved and that the K-pop idol would make his awaited return, fully participating in ATEEZ's activities.
"Hi, this is KQ Entertainment.
We would like to inform you about the health condition and return of ATEEZ member Mingi.
Through counseling therapy, long rest, and his constant efforts, Mingi has regained his health and in the first half of 2021, he has participated in several schedules prior to his official return to the group so he can check his mental and physical condition.
After discussions with Mingi, his parents, and his psychological counselor, we have received the final opinion from his psychological counselor that he can return to team activities without difficulties.
From now on, ATEEZ will be active as a full group of eight members, and we will inform you if there are any changes in previously announced schedules.
Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to ATINYs who have been waiting for Mingi and the constant support you have sent him.
Thank you."
Previously, ATEEZ's Mingi had a part in ATEEZ's final original song for Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War." Although not officially returned at the time, fans were happy to know that Mingi was feeling good enough to participate in the song.
Now that Mingi has officially returned, fans are now excited to see ATEEZ at full strength.
