NCT Talks About Future Plans, Upcoming Releases, & More, On The 'SM Congress 2021'
As of writing this article, on the 29th of June, SM Entertainment was able to hold their "SM Congress 2021." In the congress, the second SM artists to be featured were members of NCT, Doyoung, Mark, and Kun. Lee Soo Man was able to talk about NCT's upcoming activities.
NCT 127's Doyoung noted that this year, NCT will continue to participate in activities that can showcase the group's identity. To add to the promotion of NCT DREAM's repackaged album, NCT 127 plans on promoting a full-length and repackaged album.
Doyoung added that WayV is working hard to prepare for activities right after. Then NCT U will begin to greet fans with a new lineup of members this year. Thus, Doyoung noted that he believes NCTzens, the fandom of NCT, will enjoy what NCT has in store.
WayV's Kun supplemented that this year, starting with NCT's unit promotions, WayV is planning to continue promoting with a full-length album. Kun even told NCTzens to anticipate their coming album.
Furthermore, NCT127's Doyoung shared that an "NCT 2021" will happen. This will be quite similar to the "NCT 2020."
Hinting at an NCT universe, Mark revealed that NCT is working to drop content that will satisfy the curiosity regarding the secretive NCT universe. "Let us meet in Kwangya soon," the NCT member hinted.
Moreover, Lee Soo Man and the three members of NCT also talked about NCT Hollywood, an upcoming NCT sub-unit. Mark revealed that MGM Television will be in partnership with SM Entertainment, holding a survival show in the US, where NCT Hollywood will be based.
The program will be where the members of NCT Hollywood will be chosen. Hyping it up, Doyoung shared that Lee Soo Man himself will be the producer for NCT Hollywood. Current members of NCT will also be there to guide and mentor the upcoming members.
