K-Pop Is Taking Over the US Summer. Yeonjun Gets GMA. LE SSERAFIM Gets iHeartRadio.

Two announcements on Monday made the same point from different directions. TXT's Yeonjun will perform at ABC's Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on August 7. LE SSERAFIM joined the lineup for the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 19 in Las Vegas - the same festival where BTS headlines the night before.

The GMA Summer Concert Series runs weekly through August from the show's downtown New York studio, broadcast live on ABC from 7 to 9 a.m. ET. This year's confirmed lineup places Yeonjun alongside Keith Urban, Coco Jones, Dan + Shay, and Sublime. GMA has featured K-pop acts before, but the booking puts Yeonjun in a slot that reaches the show's general American morning audience - not a dedicated music event, not a K-pop-specific platform.

Yeonjun's August 7 date lands roughly four weeks after his solo comeback "NO LABELS: PART 02," due July 10. The timing is deliberate: a solo release followed by a high-profile US broadcast appearance is a promotional sequence more common among Western pop acts than K-pop idols, whose US television exposure has typically been confined to late-night shows or awards ceremonies.

The iHeartRadio addition is a different kind of statement. LE SSERAFIM will perform Day 2 of the festival at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 19. BTS headlines Day 1, September 18. The full confirmed lineup also includes Benson Boone, Cardi B, Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Chesney, Lainey Wilson, Major Lazer, Muse, Snoop Dogg, Weezer, and Zara Larsson. Each night broadcasts live across more than 150 iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and streams on Disney+ and Hulu.

Having BTS and LE SSERAFIM on consecutive nights at the same festival is not a K-pop lineup - it is K-pop integrated into a mainstream US music event that spans pop, hip-hop, country, and rock. The iHeartRadio Music Festival has operated since 2011 as a cross-genre showcase with broad radio reach. For LE SSERAFIM, whose "Iconic by Mistake" collaboration with Illit and Katseye debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this month, the booking extends a run of mainstream US visibility that began with their Coachella appearance in April.

Tickets for the iHeartRadio Music Festival are available at AXS.com.
