As Hot As ‘Hot Sauce’: NCT DREAM Receives 4th Straight Win On Inkigayo
On the 10th of May, SM Entertainment's NCT's sub-group, NCT DREAM, dropped their most recent comeback with their album "Hot Sauce." NCT DREAM's "Hot Sauce" contained 10 songs and the title track being the song of the same name, "Hot Sauce."
Notably, NCT Dream is the third sub-group of the K-pop boy group NCT. This sub-unit consists of 7 members. The 7 members are being; Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Chenle, Jaemin and Jisung. NCT Dream made their debut on the 24th of August in 2016 under SM Entertainment.
Prior to the release of "Hot Sauce," NCT DREAM already broke their own record in terms of pre-orders. That's how much support NCTzens (the fandom name of NCT) give to their favorite K-pop group.
Moreover, it is NCT DREAM's first comeback with NCT's Mark as he presumably 'graduated' from the group before. Due to popular demand, SM Entertainment had to reinstate Mark as still a member and leader of NCT DREAM.
Since "Hot Sauce" came out, it has won NCT DREAM multiple awards, topped on multiple charts, and ranked #1 on SBS's "Inkigayo" three straight times. Recently, NCT DREAM received their 4th win on "Inkigayo" and NCTzens went ballistic.
NCT DREAM was able to nab the No.1 spot with "Hot Sauce" on SBS's "Inkigayo" as they accumulated 9405 points.
Coming in second place was Oh My Girl with their song "Dun Dun Dance" which garnered 5865 total points.
Rounding out the top 3 was Brave Girls' with their song "We Ride," which got 4526 points in total.
Congratulations to NCT DREAM with their 4th consecutive win on SBS' "Inkigayo."
