Momoland Enters The Company Of TWICE And BLACKPINK With Latest Milestone
Momoland is a popular female K-pop group under the K-pop entertainment agency MLD Entertainment. The girls made their debut on the 10th of November, 2016.
The K-pop girl group currently consists of 6 members. The six members being Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy. Daisy, Yeonwoo, and Taeha left the group almost around two years ago.
On the 29th of November, 2019, it was announced that Yeonwoo and Taeha left Momoland due to personal reasons. But it was confirmed that Yeonwoo will continue as an actress still under MLD Entertainment, and Taeha will resign with another agency.
One month after the two initial members left, it was implied on the 30th of December, 2019, that Daisy was no longer part of Momoland in a press showcase that Momoland would continue as a six-member K-pop group.
On the 12th of April at around 6:13 a.m. Korean Standard Time, the music video for Momoland's smash hit song titled "BBoom BBoom" went beyond 500 million views on YouTube. Currently, the MV has 500,139,287 views alongside 3.7 million likes.
This is Momoland's first-ever music video to have ever reached this milestone.
Momoland's "BBoom BBoom" was first dropped on the 3rd of January. That means that the song took a little over three years to make this breakthrough.

Momoland's latest song is entitled "Wrap Me In Plastic," which dropped on the 5th of February, 2021. Currently, it has 8.8 million views and 507k likes.
