EXO’s Chanyeol Drops MV For ‘Break Your Box’, OST For Film ‘The Box’
With less than a month left for the release of "The Box", fans of EXO's Chanyeol are extremely excited for the K-pop idol's upcoming movie. Chanyeol's fans can view his film in select theatres all over the world on certain dates.
Right before his imminent scheduled enlistment for the South Korean army, EXO's rapper, Chanyeol, will make a return on the big screens with his upcoming and highly anticipated movie entitled "The Box."
In his upcoming film, EXO's Chanyeol will portray a character named Jihoon. Jihoon is an aspiring artist who has a knack for singing but regardless of his talent, due to anxiety, Jihoon can only perform with a box over his head, hence the title.
Alongside EXO's Chanyeol, Jo Dal Hwan will be portraying the character of Minsoo. In the film, Minsoo is a music producer who was previously a very popular producer who fell from grace, and he wants to return to his former glory. In his journey towards pursuing a career in music, Jihoon and Minsoo's lives get entangled, and together the pair tries to "break the box."
Billie Eilish's hit song entitled "Bad Guy" will be performed by Chanyeol In this movie alongside a plethora of other global hit songs.
Additionally, back on the 19th of March, it was announced that EXO Chanyeol's upcoming movie would be out in 11 countries which include the United States, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Vietnam, and Japan.
To further add to the film's acclaimed reputation, a recent music video was uploaded on SM Entertainment's official YouTube channel, SMTOWN. The original soundtrack of Chanyeol's "The Box", was the song featured in the MV, and it was amazing.
The soundtrack for EXO Chanyeol's "The Box" was released on the 25th of March, and it is noted that Chanyeol helped in writing the song "Break Your Box."
The song "Break Your Box" is cleverly written with a very soulful melody. Accompanied by EXO Chanyeol's voice really brings the whole OST together.
