JYP Entertainment Stray Kids' main dancer, lead rapper, sub-vocalist, and visual, Hyunjin, was one of the K-pop idols who was called out amidst the multiple bullying issues that arose in the K-pop community.

JYP Entertainment has released their statement prior, stating that due to misunderstanding and different remembrance of the incident among involved parties, it was difficult to clearly confirm the facts from fiction. Nevertheless, the company gave an apology on behalf of their artists as well expressed their gratitude to the involved for accepting the apology as well as for those who supported Hyunjin.

JYP Entertainment also shared that Hyunjin is currently self-reflecting on his past actions and urged everyone to refrain from spreading false rumors. Although initially thought of as a personal break from anything related to K-pop, JYP Entertainment has released a statement with regards to Hyunjin's future with the company.

JYP Entertainment has finally announced in an official statement that Stray Kids' Hyunjin will be taking a hiatus indefinitely. This announcement was released by JYP Entertainment directly, as per their social media accounts.

You can read the full translated announcement below:

"Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

We would like to inform you about Stray Kids' Hyunjin's activities. We have already contacted all of the parties involved with Hyunjin's schedules, and have been coordinating ways to cancel the activities while making sure to prevent as much damage as possible to the other party.

This process took time, so our announcement about Hyunjin's future activities was delayed. Hyunjin will be halting all entertainment activities to self-reflect on his actions.

He sincerely regrets that he hurt many people with his inappropriate words during his middle school years. He would like to sincerely apologize to those who were hurt and will do his best to help them heal from their wounds.

We would like to sincerely apologize for causing worry to the fans."
