Hunks In The Rising Sun: Most Handsome Male Idols Chosen By Japanese Teens

Visuals are not usually the main cause for an idol's popularity. But it sure does help if a K-pop idol is considered good-looking by most. This can help further an idol and their groups' popularity, especially in the case of male idols.

Although not a necessity, it sure does help if a company can double down on a trainee for their debut if the soon-to-be idol has an appealing face. Usually, this does not mean beauty. At times, charm and soft eyes are enough to captivate K-pop fans. 

For example, in the case of SM Entertainment, although not purely based on looks, K-pop idols from SM are known to be vastly talented in vocals and have outstanding visuals. 

With that being said, a recent poll was released in Japan to find the opinion of female K-pop fans on who are the best looking K-pop idols according to them.

A Japanese publication released a list of the most handsome male K-Pop idols which was chosen by Japanese teenage girls in a poll. The title of the poll was "Japanese Teenage Girls Select The Most Handsome Male Idols, Ranked," the voting poll included some of the biggest names in the Korean pop industry.
