Three South Korean celebrities currently completing their mandatory military service will soon delight avid fans with their upcoming public performances. Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ha Neul, and INFINITE's Sunggyu have joined the growing list of cast members for a military musical.

After going through a rigorous audition process, Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ha Neul, and INFINITE's Sunggyu were selected to participate in an upcoming military musical. Titled Shinheung Military Academy, the said production is a joint project between the South Korean Army and entertainment firm Shownote.

The upcoming musical tells the story of a group of young people who established a military school in Manchuria. Set during the 1900s, the academy's students and its founders will play an important part in an epic battle to secure independence from the Japanese empire.

At this time, it is still unclear whether Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ha Neul, and INFINITE's Sunggyu were given lead roles for the said musical. However, the production team plans to start rehearsal sessions in July.

Despite the lack of information about the three celebrities' roles for the military musical, avid viewers can look forward to seeing outstanding performances from Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ha Neul, and INFINITE's Sunggyu. The Healer actor has completed several theater performances such as The Days, Jack the Ripper, Brothers Were Brave, and more. He even starred alongside Kang Ha Neul in the musical Thrill Me.

Similar to Ji Chang Wook, the Scarlet Heart Ryeo actor also participated in several theater productions. He starred in Spring Awakening, Assassins, Black Mary Poppins and other hit productions. INFINITE's Sunggyu also portrayed key roles in the several theatrical plays such as In the Heights, All Shook Up, Gwanghamun Sonata, and Amadeus.

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook has been spending his vacation time from the army to bond with family members and friends. The Suspicious Partner actor recently went on a motorcycle road trip with his close pals. Park Min Young's former co-star even spent quality time with several of his celebrity friends during a short vacation in May.

The Healer star had an enjoyable time with CNBLUE band member Lee Jong Hyun, as well as Choi Tae Joon. Park Shin Hye's boyfriend even took to social media to share a snapshot of their happy reunion.
