Notably, the NCT Dream comeback will be their first in almost 9 months since the K-pop boy group's first repackaged album "Hello Future" in June of 2021, making NCTzens, the fandom name of NCT and their units, excited.

SM Entertainment's Red Velvet will also be having a new musical release in March and as per SM Entertainment, the K-pop girl group is preparing to drop a new album for ReVeluvs, the fandom name of Red Velvet.

Red Velvet's upcoming comeback will be their first in seven months after the K-pop girl group's sixth mini-album entitled "Queendom," which was released in August of 2021.

Not long after the confirmation of Red Velvet's comeback in March, netizens and fans have shared their excitement for the new release. But a lot have also shared their concerns as the comebacks from both Red Velvet and NCT Dream will go against one another.

Netizens and fans also questioned why SM Entertainment scheduled Red Velvet and NCT Dream's comebacks in the same month, as this could possibly make an unnecessary competition between the two K-pop groups that are also labelmates.

Potentially, this could probably mean that Red Velvet and NCT Dream are going to compete against one another for music show wins, dashing the potential for each K-pop act to have the most potential wins in a span of a comeback.

Although only time will tell, fans trust SM Entertainment's decisions and are hoping that both Red Velvet and NCT Dream will have a very fruitful comeback.
