In the press conference, Yuju shared an experience she had with the CEO of Konnect Entertainment, Kang Daniel. As per the former GFRIEND member, Kang Daniel had to move quickly to prevent the leak of the K-pop soloists song entitled "Play" prior to its release.

"Last year, when Kang Daniel was doing a live broadcast, I played the song so loudly in the practice room and the sound leaked. But Kang Daniel was very quick to respond and it prevented a major accident. Once again, when I think of that time, I would like to express my gratitude. He covered it up as white noise," Yuju shared to her K-pop fans.

In the K-pop soloists' press conference, Yuju noted that Kang Daniel froze up as soon as he began listening to the song.

As per the former GFRIEND member, Kang Daniel exclaimed, 'Do you hear that? Ohhh no no.' After this, he took out his phone to call someone. As staff behind the camera signaled to him that they were handling it, Kang Daniel relaxed and tried covering it up.

Quick on his feet, Kang Daniel then played it cool by noting that the music that was heard before was just nothing more than white noise. This was all explained by Yuju.

A couple of days after, the K-pop soloists teased her album to her fans, it was then realized that the song that previously played was Yuju's debut song.

Yuju will begin her promotions for her solo debut with "REC." on "Show!terview with Jessi"!
