Former GFRIEND Members SinB, Eunha, & Umji Debuting This February As The K-Pop Trio VIVIZ!
To the delight of Buddys, the fandom name of GFRIEND, former members of the K-pop girl group SinB, Eunha, and Umji set to re-debut this February as the K-pop act VIVIZ!
Previously, the K-pop girl group GFRIEND disbanded and parted ways from Source Music in May 2021.
Notably, Yerin and Sowon began their careers as actresses under Sublime Artist Agency and IOK Company, respectively. Yuju went on to sign with KONNECT Entertainment and is currently preparing for her solo debut this January.
The remaining former GFRIEND members SinB, Eunha, and Umji are continuing their path in K-pop as a trio under the group VIVIZ. VIVIZ's agency, Big Planet Made, has made plans for the new K-pop girl group to debut soon.
As of writing this article, on the 14th of January, Big Planet Made revealed, "VIVIZ is arranging their schedule with the goal of debuting in February."
Previously in October of 2021, it was confirmed that former GFRIEND members SinB, Eunha, and Umji went on to sign with Big Planet Made and were slated to debut as a three-member K-pop girl group called VIVIZ.
The name of the K-pop girl group VIVIZ is short for 'VIVId dayZ' and it revolves around the message that the K-pop group will become artists who confidently express their colors in the world, showing how serious the former GFRIEND members SinB, Eunha, and Umji are.
Furthermore, VIVIZ can also be an abbreviation of the former GFRIEND members SinB, Eunha, and Umji's real names. Both Eunha and SinB's real names are Eunbi, and 'Bi' is pronounced the same as 'Vi', while the 'Ji' in Umji is pronounced similar to Z in Korean.
