Make some noise MooMoos! Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa of MAMAMOO are gearing up to make their highly-anticipated return next month in September!

As of writing this article, yesterday on the 27th of August, MAMAMOO's agency, RBW went on to officially announce and confirm that MAMAMOO is gearing up to make their comeback with a new compilation album which features new versions of MAMAMOO's previous hit songs.

The cherry on the cake for MAMAMOO's September comeback? The compilation will also have a brand-new track as well!

As per MAMAMOO's agency, RBW announced:

"MAMAMOO is currently preparing to release a best-of album that will look back on their past seven years this September. It will include new versions of their past title tracks and B-sides that have received lots of love, and they will also be releasing a new song with the album. We will inform you when more concrete details have been decided."

Notably, MAMAMOO's upcoming compilation album will be noted as MAMAMOO's first-ever release since "WAW," previously their 11th mini album not long ago in June. "WAW" contained 4 tracks which were led by the title track, "Where Are We Now."

"WAW" was special to MAMAMOO and MooMoos (the fandom name of MAMAMOO) as the album had all-ballad tracks.

Aside from this, this will also be MAMAMOO's first-ever comeback since the members; Solar, Moonbyul, and Hwasa renewed their contracts with RBW and Wheein parted ways with RBW.

Not long ago, Wheein decided to not renew her contract with the agency. Since then, she has been in conversations to join THE L1VE, VIXX's Ravi's new label. Although this is the case, Wheein signed an extended agreement with RBW which means she will continue to be part of MAMAMOO's group activities.

Stay tuned for more details regarding MAMAMOO's comeback this September!
