In 2021, the K-pop industry, as known to the public, is one of, if not the most popular, music genres all over the world. K-pop is the number one most popular genre in South Korea already, but beyond that, South Korea still has bands that are non-K-pop that are immensely popular.

Among these bands is JYP Entertainment's hidden gem, DAY6.

DAY6 made its debut with JYP Entertainment on the 7th of September, 2015, and since then, My Days (the name of their fandom) have been supporting them nonstop. Contrary to most bands, JYP Entertainment uses similar promotion tactics with their K-pop groups towards DAY6.

Thus, Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon (the members of DAY6) are often-times promoted similarly to a K-pop group. This can be seen as a successful tactic as DAY6 is currently really popular. Similar to K-pop groups, DAY6 also has a subunit called Even of Day.

To the delight of My Days, DAY6's Even of Day is releasing a comeback this July!

Today, as of writing this article, on the 14th of June, DAY6's subunit, Even of Day, has confirmed via an official announcement that they would be releasing a comeback in July!

Made up of the members Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon, Even of Day made their debut in 2020. This coming will be their first comeback, and they will do it with their 2nd mini-album entitled "Right Through Me," which is slated to release on the 5th of July.

The official Twitter page of DAY6 has uploaded a teaser poster for Even of Day's comeback, and it contains details such as the title of their upcoming album ("Right Through Me") and the specific release date, which is the 5th of July at 6PM KST.

Previously on the 8th of March, Songjin (the leader and main vocalist of DAY6) went on to enlist in the military.
