The K-pop industry is filled with legendary groups that embody the meaning of iconic. So it is always sad to see when groups go on a long hiatus or even worse, disbandment. Only a select few get to have a reunion and/or make a return.

But recent reports suggest that a group from JYP Entertainment and co-managed by Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE) is having a reunion and fans are stoked.

2AM made their debut 13 years ago in 2008 under JYP Entertainment being a four-member ballad group. Seven years later, in 2015, 2AM decided to leave JYP Entertainment. Regardless, 2AM told their fans that they definitely did not have a disbandment.

Recently on the 20th of May, a famous South Korean entertainment news website named Herald POP, was able to report that 2AM is on the rise to have a comeback.

As most may know, 2AM is a brother group of JYP Entertainment's 2PM since all of the group members were able to take part in the same contest and were then split into two separate groups.

Noticeably, JYP Entertainment's 2PM were previously able to announce and confirm their comeback. Thus, fans speculated whether or not 2AM would be able to do the same.

The fans' theories may soon be answered as the 2AM's agencies have confirmed that they are in discussions for the matter.

Lead vocalist of 2AM's Jo Kwon's agency, Cube Entertainment, shared to MK Sports, "As far as we know, 2AM's reunion is being reviewed positively."

Moreover, 2AM's Seulong's agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, and 2AM's Jinwoon's agency, Mystic Story, were in agreement on the matter.

However 2AM's Changmin has not specifically commented on the topic of a reunion.

If (hopefully) 2AM makes a comeback, it will be the band's first song in more than 7 years since their 2014 album, "Let's Talk."
