BTS, SEVENTEEN, Justin Bieber And More Entertainers Beyond K-Pop Discuss HYBE Recent Acquisitions

In the early days of April, HYBE (previously known as Big Hit Entertainment) confirmed that their subsidiary company, Big Hit America, was able to get a 100 percent stake in Ithaca Holdings, essentially joining the two companies.

Recently, the official YouTube channel of HYBE LABELS released a video entitled "HYBE x Ithaca Holdings." In the 9 minute and 20-second clip, multiple popular celebrities celebrated the recent partnership made between the two companies. 

At the start of the YouTube video, it discussed the plans and boundaries of being under HYBE. 

The labels under HYBE are Big Hit Music, BE:LIFT, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment, KOZ Entertainment, and X.

On the other end of the spectrum, divisions under HYBE Solutions are HYBE 360 (content production), HYBE IP (merchandise), HYBE EDU (educational content), and superb (mobile games). Moreover, the Weverse Company will be covered by HYBE Platform.

The other half of the partnership, Ithaca Holdings, has SB Projects and Big Machine Label Group.

They handle western entertainers such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin, and multiple other artists.

Due to the merger being so inclusive to both western and South Korean artistsBTS, Justin Bieber, SEVENTEEN, J Balvin, and Demi Lovato were also in the video-sharing their excitement.

Additionally, the uploaded video had a message from HYBE CEO and chairman Bang Si Hyuk. He greeted Ithaca Holdings as a new member of their family. Si Hyuk also mentioned that both companies share the goal of creativity and innovation, which in turn is the reason why both companies are now as big as they are.

Scooter Braun, the chairman and CEO of Ithaca Holdings, also went on to commend HYBE and is also looking forward to future projects.

The CEO and president of Big Machine Label Group, Scott Borchetta, was also in on the celebrations as he talked about the future.
