LUNARSOLAR Gets Extinguished After Only Being Active For Less Than 2 Years
It is inevitable for K-Pop groups to eventually disband. In most cases, some groups fall victim to the 7-year curse. In rarer cases, K-Pop groups surpass 7 years and last longer than their peers. But sadly, there are other artists that abruptly disband. This is the case for LUNARSOLAR.
To the sadness of HAEDALs, LUNARSOLAR has officially disbanded. What makes the announcement even sadder is that the K-Pop group only disbanded after less than two years of promoting together.
Furthermore, LUNARSOLAR's Eseo, Jian, Taeryeong, and Yuuri first made their debut in September of 2020 with the single album entitled "SOLAR : flare."
On the 22nd of May, the K-Pop girl group's agency J Planet Entertainment made the official announcement on the girl group's social media pages. Here is J Planet Entertainment's announcement both in English and in Korean:
"J Planet Entertainment would like to inform you that after long discussions with LUNARSOLAR members, we decided to terminate the exclusive artist contract.
Eseo, Taeryeong, Jian, and Yuuri decided to part ways by supporting each other for their new beginning and J Planet Entertainment also wishes the best for each member's new future going forward.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have loved and supported LUNARSOLAR until now and hope you continue to cheer for their new activities to come.
Netizens and fans are wishing the members of LUNARSOLAR the best in their bright careers!
