Contain your hearts, "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" fans. As per recent rumors, Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung could be reuniting in an upcoming K-Drama!
Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung were the leads in the hit rom-com K-Drama "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" in 2016. The two then developed feelings for one another which caused them to start dating in 2017.
Unfortunately, Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung broke up after a few months. Though last year, the two were embroiled in dating rumors. Fans were able to see hints such as their photos still posted on their Instagram accounts.
But the two K-Drama stars have not confirmed their supposed relationship. Regardless, it seems like fans will be able to see their chemistry once again.
Previously, Nam Joo Hyuk's label Management SOOP announced that the actor is positively reviewing the offer to star in the upcoming K-Drama "Vigilante." The story of the drama will revolve around a police university student who looks for criminals on the weekend.
If Nam Joo Hyuk accepts the role, he will portray the male lead in "Vigilante" Ji Yong.
Not long after the announcement of Nam Joo Hyuk's possible next K-Drama, it was rumored that Lee Sung Kyung was also offered a role in "Vigilante." If the actress accepts, she will portray the role of Choi Mi Ryeo, a reporter who finds out about Ji Yong's weekend plans.
Reportedly, the K-Drama's producer invited Lee Sung Kyung to be a part of "Vigilante."
The two stars have been busy recently as Nam Joo Hyuk recently starred in the K-Drama "Twenty Five, Twenty One" while Lee Sung Kyung is the female lead in "Sh**ting Stars."
