To the delight of netizens and ARMYs (the fandom name of BTS), K-pop superstar Jungkook cements his name as an elite soloist as the BTS member joins The Weeknd as the two attained an amazing milestone on Spotify.

Notably, BTS' Jungkook has previously shown that he is both a superstar not just domestically, but internationally as well. But his recent achievement was further supplemented due to the success of the K-pop idol's first solo entitled "Stay Alive."
BTS Jungkook's song has gone on to reach a plethora of records proving his status. Furthermore, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye (more popularly known as The Weeknd) has also continuously solidified his claim as a superstar with a myriad of solo and collaborative releases.

Thus, ARMYs and netizens were hyped to find out that BTS's Jungkook has joined The Weeknd as the only artists to debut songs with on Spotify Global's Top 5 biggest streams this 2022. The K-pop idol's "Stay Alive" ranks fifth among the biggest song debuts in 2022.
For Jungkook, aside from having the top song debut from an asian soloist on Global Spotify, the BTS member's "Stay Alive" also ranks the 3rd highest song debut at #3 on Spotify Global in 2022 right before The Weeknd's hits "Sacrifice" and "Gasoline," placing 1st and 2nd place.
The Weeknd then sweeps the other spots on Spotify Global top 10 for 2022 as the Canadian singer-songwriter and producer claimed the 10th-6th place and 4th-1st place.
