Kyujin Becomes The 2nd Member of JYP Entertainment’s NMIXX To Test Positive For COVID-19!

To the sadness of netizens and K-pop fans, Kyujin, from JYP Entertainment's upcoming K-pop girl group NMIXX, becomes the 2nd member to test positive for COVID-19.
Notably, BAE was the first member of NMIXX to test positive for COVID-19. Following this, the other members of the upcoming JYP Entertainment K-pop girl group took preemptive PCR tests. Although NMIXX's debut will still proceed, their showcase has been postponed.
Previously on the 20th of February, JYP Entertainment updated fans regarding NMIXX Kyujin's regarding her health. The label's full statement is as follows:
"Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
On the afternoon of Sunday, February 20, NMIXX member Kyujin tested positive for COVID-19.
Kyujin took a preemptive PCR test on Thursday, February 17 and received a negative result. She went into self-quarantine, and on February 20, she began to show symptoms like a slight fever and a sore throat. She took another PCR test that afternoon and has received a positive result.
Kyujin has completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and has no serious symptoms other than the mild fever and sore throat. She is currently following the directions of the disease control authorities and receiving treatment while in self-quarantine.
The agency will do its best for our artists' treatment and recovery by prioritizing their health above all else.
