The "Peaky Blinders" 6th and final season is almost here and this might be the last time viewers see Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby. To make fans hyped, BBC One aired a short yet exciting clip of the series in the previous year.
Although a specific date for the final season of "Peaky Blinders" has not yet been revealed, it is known that it will be aired in February 2022. Though it is already clear that the first episode of the 6th season of "Peaky Blinders" is going to be entitled "Black Day."
The 6th season of "Peaky Blinders" was filmed in Cheshire with Arley Hall, near Warrington. This was where Tommy Shelby's home is notably located. What is sure is that the 6th season will be the conclusion .
Unfortunately, Helen McCrory (who plays Aunt Polly) is not in the 6th and final season of "Peaky Blinders" as she was stricken with cancer when filming continued for the program. Tragically, the actress passed away in April 2021.
If it was not locked down in March 2020, Helen McCrory would have appeared in the 6th season of "Peaky Blinders."
Furthermore, although the 6th season of "Peaky Blinders" will be aired on BBC One in a primetime slot, the program will also be available on the streaming platform giant Netflix.

Fans are saddened that "Peaky Blinders" is ending with its 6th season but they have some solace as a movie is on its way once the program ends. The movie could also go into production probably in 2023.
In an interview with Variety magazine, "Peaky Blinders" creator Steven Knight revealed that a feature film, which will be set and shot in Birmingham, is coming. He also added that it will be the best ending for the "Peaky Blinders."
